NEXT YEAR'S SHOW PROGRAMME.
The General Committee of the A. and P. Association met on Saturday and drew up the programme for next year's show. The principal alteration made in last year's programme was in the Dairy Cow division. Provision was made that entries in that class should close at *he end <?f November, and the cowa milked at that time on their owners' farms uuder the supervision i of stewards appointed by tiie 'Association. The milk will then be weighed and a sample taken and tested, but the results of the*- test will not be divulged until about the time of the show. The Hrst three cows will the be required to be exhibited at the show or forfeit their prizes. The unplaced oows will not be required to be exhibited. lu the aheep division, a class was added for five lambs (any breed) best suited for freezing and the London market. I'he class list in connection with the competitions in elementary agriculture for school childreu was adopted. The other amendments made in the catalogue were of a parely technical nature.
