ACCOMMODATION CHARGES. By Telegraph—'Press Association. CHRISTCHUROH, August 10. A Wellington resident has complained that on fapplymg for accommodation at a secoiid-olaes hotel in Christohurch during the Exhibition season he was quoted £lO 10s per week or 30s per clay. in reply to that complaint the offioi&ls of the Licensed* Victuallers' Association state that the hotelkeepers had assured the Housing Committee of the Exhibition that no substantial inoreasae in the present rates would be made, and that agreement had to be kept. The maximum amount being oharged by the leading hotels in Christchuroh was 15s per day.
