THE NATIVE DISTURBANCE. Received June 4, 8.9 a.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, June 3. Siganandi's induna, Mpikaa, two headsmen and seventy others have surrendered to Colonel Mackenzie. The Chief Sitwaue's offer of a thousand natives to assist in quieting the rebellion has been accepted. A STRONGHOLD CAPTURED. SIXTY REBELS KILLED. REBELLION MORE SERIOUS THAN EVER. DINIZULU THE CAUSE OP THE TROUBLE. Received Jane 4, 9.45 p.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, June 4. Colonel Maokenzie again swept Siganandi's country. His stronghold was captured, and sixty rebels killed. Four of the British were killed and seven wounded. Information gathered by the Intelligence Department tends to show that Dinizulu was toe cause of the whole native trouble. / The rebellion is now considered more serious than ever. Special precautions to guard magistracies have been taken.
