WAtRARAPA TdURSDAY UNION.. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Thursday Rugby Union - was held at Oarteiton, last evening. Mr B. Chapman oooupied the chair, there were also present—Messrs .W., King, W. Minnett, P. *o'Oonitor (Albions), R. Harding, M. O'Leary (Pirates), K. .Armstrong, V. Fairbrother, J. Edwards i"( Rovers), . Hall, Ross (Martinborough), and *F. D. Polling (Eketahuna/. The annual report', and balancesheet, the latter'showing the reoeipts for the year to been £ll9 8s 7d } , and the expenditure £ll9 7& l 2d, leving a 'credit balance of Is sd, were xead and adopted. The following teams were nominated for admission to the Union: Sepiors-r-Albione, Hovers, Eketahuna. Juniors—Pirates, Kia Toa, Liberals, Albions, Roverg, Martinborough, Gladstone. It was decided.to open the season on May 17th. 1 A rule was enframed compelling all players to play in club uniform.
