FRENCH APPRECIATE COLONY'S OFFEK. CHRISTCHURCH, March 16. Mr Seddon has been advised from the French Government that N«w Zealand's offer of the steamer Tutanekai, to assist in provisioning Tahiti, after the hurricane, was not necessary, though the offer was warmly appreciated.
