THE BROKEN HILL MINE. Reoieved February 15, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, February 14. The Broken Hill Proprietary ba-lance-sheet for the half-year shows a net profit of £196,959. The average per ton of gross ore treated was 12s lOd, the highest for eight years—due almost entirely to the heavy advance in.lead. Dividends amounting to £144,000 were paid out. The qauntity of silver produced was 2,896,5d5 ounces.
