The estimates which were passed daring th« recent session of the New South Wales Parliament included the sum of £50,000 to assist landowners to wire-net their holdings in order to combat the rabbits. In South Australia great areas have been wire netted with Government aid and the results have been satisfactory. A pieeting is to be held nt Feilding in reference to borough valuation. At a meeting of the Feilding Chamber of Commerce on Monday evening, Mr Goodbehere said the value of the borough was unjust, the valuation was not uniform, and numerous discrepancies had occurred which proved the valuation was bad. The average increase in the borough was 100 per cent, in less than three, years. Some properties had increased as much as 325 per cent, and in one iustance as much as 500 per cent. Other speakers supported Mr Goodbehere.
