THE PREMIER.
HOKITIKA, January 13. The Premier reached Okarito today, and will visit the Franz Josef glacier to-morrow. He will return here about Tuesday, and is to de liver a policy speech at Kumara on Wednesday night, when the intended legislation Of next session will be forecasted. ' Both the Premier and the Minister of Lands are greatly impressed with the progress of settlement in South Westland, which has made very rapid advance of late. REEPTON, January 13. The Premier is likely to visit Reefton on Thursday or Friday, and he is to be entertained at a monster picnic.
