NEW ZEALAND COMPETITION. BLENHEIM, January 13. The total for the 37th week of tho New Zealand Egg laying Competition is 1470, making the grand aggregate 68,018, and the weekly average per pen 14.70 The highest layings for the week are:—Brooks'White Leghorns v Soutn Australia), 29: H. Leger's White Leghorns (Levin), 28; Worthington's Silver , Wyandottes (Auckland), 26';. Zita Shaw's Silver Wyandottes (Blenheim), 26. The order of merit in the grand aggregate now is:— H. Leger, 1066'; Brcoks, 970; Marlborough A. and P. Association, 951; Miss Shaw (Blenheim), 941; Jonathan Hodson (.Blenheim), 929. All tbe p«ns mentioned'consist of White Leghorns. There are about 80 broody hens, and about 30 well advanced with moult.
