McCURDY APPRECIATION FUND.
A meeting to raise money towards the above fund met on Monday evening l last, the Mayor (Mr. P. Robertson) presiding-. The amount of £179/19/- has already been handed in to the Town Clerk, and it is expected with the extension of another- fortnight this sum will be substantially increased. The presentation will be made at a social. Anyone wishing- to contribute to the fund may do so through the Town Clerk's office.
