UPPER HUTT UNITED 1, STOP-OUTS 1. Dunn relieved pressure on Upper Hutt's line and Hartley dribbled close in beating three opponents but his shot was -well stopped. Stop-Outs' centre had a snap shot but Marsden saved well. Upper Hutt forwards attacked and gave Stop-Out an anxious time. A quick pass to Kelly and the outside left scored with a powerful left foot drive. The defence of Dunn and Newport kept Stop-Out at bay and a fine run by Hoey almost brought a goal, a shot by Kelly just missing.. Stop-Out equalised with a shot by their centre striking the underside of the upright which the referee allowed. The home side gave altogether a good display.
