Sister Edith, in replying to the kind i words of encouragement from the j chairman and others, said that she j knew that she had received a definite | call fx-om God to entex- the Home Mis- j sion work and since hex- arx-ival in this I district the friendly and home-like at- j titude of the people has made her feel ' that hex* work, whethex- fox- Methodists j or others, will be most kindly x-eceived. j After the sex-vice was concluded sup- ' pex- was sex-ved by the members of the i Ladies' Guild and an opportunity af- j fox-ded all px-esent to become better- ac- j quainted with Sistex- Edith. I Sistex- Edith, who is an Aucklander, is a very good speaker, thoughtful and j decisive in manner, and her pulpit work should prove most acceptable and instructive to hex- hearers.
