BY PROCLAMATIONS dated respectively Ist. ami 2nd September, 1S)1U, llie the enrolment of the Reserve is diiected. Enrolment must bs made not later than 15th September (First Division), or 16th September (Second Division). THE RESERVE consists of men net less than '2O and under 46 years of age. THE RESERVE REHSTER is based on tli-* National Register. Men not already registered must supply enrolment cards not later than Hiili September Men already registered need not supply an enrolment-card, but must, not later than Kith September, notify present address if place of abode has changed since registration. . Men reaching military age, or arriving In Dominion nfter 16th September, must supply enrolmentcards within fourteen days theieafter. Changes of abode after enrolment must be uotilied within fourteen days. THE ACT makes the reservist's obligation to do any of the above things a personal one, and he is not lelieved by information pieviously given to iccruiting ollicer or committee. MEN NOT bNROLLED niiy be sent straight to camp. MEN who fail to nclify change of address may become liable on a charge of desertion. EMPLOYERS 01'' RESERVISTS not en rolled, or of deserters, are liable to heavy lines or imprisonment FOR PROTECTION OK RESERVISTS certificates of enrolment will be issued ao soon as practicable after receipt of application on form provided.
