MILLERS FLAT.
Anglican Church Entertainment. A correspondent informs us that the concert given in the Athenaeum Hall, Roxburgh, by a band of children under the direction of Mrs Streete, was repeated at Millers Flat when the efforts of the promoters were attended with results equally as successful as was the experience locally Close on 40 children and a number of adults travelled to the Flat in Messrs Waigtk and Sou's lorry, and the journey both ways was as thoroughly enjoyed by tho juveniles as tho eutcrtaiumeut that was served up for tho declaration of tho Millers Flat public who filled the hall to the utmost as far as seating capacity was concerned. The various items on the progiamme, including, singing, marching, dancing, by the children, were well received, and on each occasion aroused The Vicar nnd Mrs Streete were heartily thanked for the trouble they had gone to in connection with the entertainment, and Miss F.
