The Champion Co. cleaned np for lOoz lOdwt 12gr. Onr Wetherstones correspondent writes : The snowstorm that we had on Saturday jnlgbi, of the sth instant, and on the followloglcUy, blocked the Golden Crescent waterfaoe'Ugain. All hands went out on Monday morning and it took them that and the following day to clear the raoe. They commenced elevating on Wednesday again. They washed down last Saturday forenoon lor the return of 220z. That represents two weeks' work, which I consider is very good for %he ground they have been running off — chiefly clay— and the little bottom they have uncovered so far. The bidding in - both oases was spiritless and evidently ■eoond-hand dredges are becoming a drug on the market. The Deep Stream Amalgamated Co. reports a return of 70oz for three weeks' actual sluicing. A stoppage boourred through a heavy fall of snow blocking the raoe. The dredgeinasterof the Golden Bed reports that he is making a oat down the face of tbe claim, and has fixed a new pulley wheel for the pump: The seoretaty reports that the Meg and Annie dredge bottomed on Friday. The Bankleburn Amalgamated Cos. 1 dredge has been working about five ohains from the bottom of the Lioness claim, but the prospects are poor. The dredgemaster is shifting the dredge five ohains higher np, where he bopeß to get better prospects. The return was 6oz 15dwt for 158 hours,

The " Daily Times " understands that^the Vincent Co.'s dredge and claim, taken possession of by the mortgagee (Mr D. M. Sped4iog) in lieu of an advance of £1,500, has passed into the bands of Mr T. C. Cullicg, frbose tender for £1,400 has been accepted. It is reported that a tender put in on behalf of a number of shareholders who wished to te-tormthe company was rejected as informal, mljt was not accompanied by * deposit oi 25 per cent, on ta« amount of tho tender,
