CORRESPONDENCE.
THE PRICE OP BREAD AND A COOPERATIVE BAKERY. [To the Editor.]
Sir, — Returning again to this subject, I would suggest to our good friend who intends calling a meetiog by advertisement that before cloiag so a house to house canvass of iha district be made with the view of placing the matter clearly before the residents and pointing out the great benefit, they would derive from tha establishment of a co-operative bakery in our midst, and ask them not only to pledge themselves to attend the public meeting bub to promise also to take one or more shares, according to their means, in the venture, when its flotation will be a certainty. I am prepared to pay a properly qualified per-jon, say, 60s for a three days' canvass if our friend approves of the suggestion. Of course, Ido not want to take the matter out of his hands, but I want him to know that he has a red hot supporter in A Consumer.
