WAITAHUNA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY,
A meeting of the above Society was held on Tuesday evening last to make final arrangements for the spring show, whioh comes off on Wednesday first, October 2nd ; Mr Barnett (President) in the chair. Misees Wall and M'Ara were appointed to receive entries, the secretary (Mr Boss) being unable tit present to attend to these duties. Misses Byan and Scott were appointed to look after Ihe industrial work. Messrs West, Garden, Livingston, and D. M'Taggart, jun. were appointed attending members, Mr M'Taggart undertaking to convey to the Hall all exhibits sent by rail. Mr M. Corry convented to look after the shooting gallery. It wnf resolved to open ihe show from. S. SO jKm. till 5.30 p.m. and again at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, and in the evening only at 7.30 Oa Thursday. Intending exhibitors are reminded that entries dose with the seoretary at 9 o'clock on Monday evening.
