Vice-President Roosevelt states that the President will resume his duties in • month.
The police of New York are taking a censes of all Anarchists, turf shtttovring them until their movements are explained. Bdelbert Stone has been arrested at New Jersey {or being an accessory to the attack on the President. He remarked on Friday that he would not bn surprised to hear that President M'Kinley had been killed to-day. He now declares the statement to have been made merely by way of a joke. President M'Kinley is assimilating an increased quantity of food. He continues to gain strength.
Mfil^oOßNE, September 12. The, President of (he Senate and the Speaker of the House of Bepresentatives have sent sympathetic cables to President M'Kiuley.
