ALLEGED PLOT TO KILL MR CHAMBERLAIN.
London, September 12.
Faugeron, a Frenchman, was committed to Clerkenwell on a charge of murdering Jung, a Swiss jeweller. The prisoner alleges that Jung, representing a secret society, offered him money to stab Mr Chamberlain for oansiDg the Boer w*r and Us attendant misery. The bribe was wjeetetl. Thd re-, tarn of moneys previously given, bj Jung to relieve him in bia distress was then demanded. A ecuffla ensued, in which he killed Jang unintentionally in self-defence.
