TUAPEKA MOUNTED RIFLES
A match was fired on Boxing Day morning between teams chosen on the range from members of the above company by Captain Pearson and Sergt.-major M'Keich. Victory rested with the Sergt.-major's team by 33 points. The weather was unfavorable for shooting, Equally aud changeable lights militating against high scoring. The conditions were seven shots and a sighter each at 200 yds
