TUAPEKA POULTRY SOCIETY
The annual meeting of the above Society was held in Mr Pearson's office on Monday night, when there was only a small attendance of fanoiers; Mr Eyes presided. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and oonfirmed. The balanoe-sheet (showing a oredit balanoe of £1 17s 7d) was read and adopted. The following offioe-bearers were elected : —President, Mr A. M. Eyes 5 Vice-president, Mr C. M. Brooks; secretary, Mr H. W. Hilton ; and the oommittee, same as last year. The date of the next annual show was fixed for Wednesday and Thursday, 11th and 12th July. It was reSolved to aßk Mr Double, of Inveroargill, if he would accept the position of judge on the same terms as last yearIt was decided to guarantee entries to the Taieri and Milton shows. Invercargill will Ulso be asked to join in this arrangement. The secretary was instructed to write to the South Island Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary - Association, intimating that the Society would not join the Association in the meantime. A committee meeting will be held on 10th May (Thursday).
