To Reid and Gkay. Mosgie!, June 3, 1891 lhave just finished ploughing about 100 acres of land with the Digging Plough that I got from you at the beginning of the seasin. The greater part of"" the ground was very bad with couch grasß, and very hard, owing to the Jong continuation of dry weather. The farrow we ploughed was about 12in square : the skim couhers put the conch grass well down in the bottom of the furrow, and the' depth of the furrow brought a fine lot of soil on to the top, making a fine seed bed— a good deal better than ever I expected. I have found the Steel Point a great improvement where the ground is so hard and dry, being able to turn them upside down, always making the plough keep a good hold of the ground. I have found that the aquarer you plough the better — thatis, keeping as deep as broad. lam very well satisfied with the plough, as it is bo easily handled. [(Signed^ SAMUEL YOUNG.
