Wheat. — Mr Donald Stronach reports :'— • The position of the market is much the same as last week. Milling is only in limited request at from 3s to 3s Id ; medium milling commands no attention except at prices which i > sellers are not prepared to accept, while inferior and lower grades are in good demand at prices ranging from 2s to 2s 6d, ex store. — Messrs Donald Reid and Co. sold 8100 bushels at— for prime milling, fair to goojdi quality, 3s, two lines of extra fine fetching 3s 'fld, j medium do, 2s 9d,to 2s lid j inferior, 2s 4d to 2s 6d ; fowl feed,,, ls 3d to ~2s 6d. Oats.— Mr Donald Stronash reports: There has. been a fair amount of inquiry for oats dunug the week, and a few linos have, been disposed of ; but as a good many growers are not disposed to accept low rates, and buyers arejnot prepared to advance, business is some-, what restricted. Wo quote; Trinto milling, Is 9d ; short bright feed, Is 8d to Is 8&d ; medium and sparrowbills, Is 7d to Is7|d; inferior, Is 3d to Is 6d. Barley. — There is no demand of any consequence,' and quotations remain same as last week.
