Bubnside Taeds— Wednesday.

Fat Cattle. — 153 head forward, two-thirds of which were good to prime quality. Although the number was under the average, competition was extremely dull, butchers having still supplies on hand from previous markets and private purchases. A reduction on last week's prices bad therefore to be submitted to, and a few pens of prime beasts were tv- ned out unsold. Best bullocks brought from £8 to £10 2s 6d ; others, £4 17s 6d to £7 10s ; cows, £5 10s to £8 5s ; do inferior, £2 10s to £4 10s. Fat Sheep. — 1504 penned, of which 550 were merinos. About a fourth of the total number were prime quality, the balance medium to good. As the trade was well supplied from previous crowded markets, the demand was by no means aotive, although the number forward was small ; still the current prices were a shade over those of lash week. Best cross-breds brought 14s 6d to 16s 6d ; othsrs, 11b to 14s 3d ; merinos, 5s to Us 9J. Fat Lambs. — 495 penned : a moderate supply; and for best lots lh6re wa3 brisk competition, but small and low-conditioned are not so much sousht after. Pigs. — Eighty -seven yarded, mostly porkers. Biddiug was spirited and prices satisfactory. Bacon pigs fetched 38s to 623 ; porkers, 21s to 275 ; sinkers, 15s to 18s 6d. Store Cattle. — There are numerous inquiries for well-bred, full-grown and forwardconditioned cattle, for which prices ore obtained which compare favorably with those for fat beasts.

Si ore Sheep. — Very little business doing. Sellers are firm, and buyers eeem determined not to give the high figures of iast season. A slight reduction would lead to a large amount of business.

Horses. — Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. renort having held their weekly sale on Saturday last. There is a fair demand for useful draughts and first-claBS light harness horses. They quote first-class heavy draughts at from £27 to £32; medium, £17 to £25; good hacks and light harness horses, £16 to £23; medium, £10 to £14; light and inferior, £2 to £6. Sheepskins. — Cross-breds (low to medium) brought Is 4d to 3s lid ; f ull-woolled, 4s to 5s 6d, for an extra good lot up to 8s ; merinos (medium), Is lOd to 3s 9d ; do f ull-woolled, 4s to 5s 6d ; butchers' green pelts, 8d to Is 4d ; lambskinp, 7d to Is sd. Rabbitskine. — A fair demand for good skins ; suckers and inferior, dull of sale ; medium to fair summer bring 8 I to Is Id ; good to best, Is 2d to Is sd. Hides. — Market firm, especially in heavy weights suitable for export. Light weights are worth 3d to 3£d ; medium, 3f d to 4d j heavy, 4£d to 4£d. Tallow.— Fair demand at following quotations:—Good to prime, £26* to £28 10s; medium, £23 to £25 ; inferior, £18 to £22 j rough fat, £14 to £17 ; do in bad condition, £12 per ton.
