LOCAL GRAIN MARKET.
Messrs Aebucklb, Robbbtson and Co. report as follows : — Wheat : For this cereal, a slightly increased demand has arisen, although prices have not advanced to any marked extent. The general feeling, however, is that there is an upward tendency. We quote best milling at 3i to 3t 2d ; medium, 2s 7d to 2s lid ; fowls' wheat 2s 6d. Oats : The Sydney market has beea glutted, and there being no probability of an opening in that direction for at least a month to come, business is confined to local transactions, at Is 8d to Is 9d for best bright samples ; discolored and medium, Is 6d to Is 7d. Barley : Malting samples are in fair demand at from 3s 8d to 3s lOd ; feed, 3s.
