LOCAL SALES— STOCK.

Messrs Abbuoelb, Robibtson and Co. report a fair attendance at their Lawrence sale yards yesterday. The following classes of stock were disposed of :— Sheep : A small number only yarded, for which the demand was limited. Merino ewes brought 8a 6d ; do wethers passed in at 5s 6d. Cattle : Heifers and cows brought from £2 7s 6d to £5 ss ; steers, £3 10s. Horse': Saddle and harness horses from £7 to £10.
