Nor look in what direction we will, does there appear any near prospect of improvement. , Aw, „ vheat^e*, granary brings about former quotation*, say 42s to 44s,per 4961 b, for, long-berried, 38s to 41s for average, and inferior, of which a large has come forward, 25s tO M 3ss.. i No sales of the new crop for shipment reported. " -. Flour is very dull, being adversely affoded by the low competing values of German and American descriptions. The present quota* tion for Australian is- 29s to 31s per 2801 b, ex granary. Oats are quiet-, fine New Zealand bringing 34) to 35s per 3841 b, and common 22s to 25s per 3201 b: rj '
