Messrs Sthbhenson akd Co. report:— Wheat : The market continues in a most depressed state. We havo again to report a decline in values. Sales in quantities it is almost impossible to effect. Oats : The demand for first-class bright samples of milli.ig and short feed continues without abatement. Slightly discolored parcels are, however, more difficult to place.

Mr Donald SXBONA.OH reports :— Wheat : We quote nominally : Prime milling in small parcels, 3i 3d to 3s 6J ; medium, 2s 9d to 3) ; (almost unsaleable) ; fowl's wheat, 2s to 2s Bd, only in moderate request (bugs weighed in). Barley: Demand good for malting and milling samples, and we quote prime malting sample* up to 4s 2d ; medium, 3s 6 i to 3s 10J. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report:— The past week bus been unusually quiet, millers holding off and using up the tmttll stock they hnve on hand. We quote best milling wheat, pearl and Tuscan, at 3s 7d to 3s 9d ; good to primo re.l s!r.vw and other sorts, 3s 5d to 3s 7£ 1 ; medium ill condi* tioned wheats are much neglected, and may be quoted at 3s to 3s 4£d ; fowls' feed, (in abundant supply) sell at 2s to 2s 10;. Oats : \ very largo business has been done through out the week, shippers holding to clear off Danish and other long sort?, but for these qualities prices ore a shade easier — namely, Is lOd to Is Hid ; while bright feed commands a ready sale at 2s to 2s lji ; and really fine milling, which meets with a good market, Bells at 2s lid to 2s 2£d— bags weighed in.
