(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., Warden.) Tuesday, sth Maboh. Bedford Butler v. Benjamin Williams and others. — Damages, £50, for encroachment. This cose occupied the Court a considerable time. Several witnesses were examined on both sides. — Nonsuited. The following applications were granted : — Extended claims ; J. F. Kitto and another, Edward Vernon, Andrew Lee, Johns and Setter. Residence areas: William Kitto, John Eddy. Tailrace: Bedford Butler. Agricultural lease of section 10, block X., Teviot district to Charles Lucas. . John Glass' application for a residence area was objected to by Robert M'Leod as leing on surveyed land. — Refused. ' The applications of William Spencer, Michael JRickards, Ewen Butler, John Suminate, and Robert Lind for residence areas at the Hercules Flat were . adjourned, pending report of the County Engineer respecting the extension of the road in that locality.
