DAY OF MOURNING.
India Remembers Victims of Quetta Quake. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA. June 25. At the instruction of the Indian National Congress June 30 will be } observed as a day of mourning 1 throughout India for the victims of the Quetta earthquake. This week the Viceroy (Lord Wilj lingdon) and Field-Marshal Sir Philip ; Chetwode (Commander-in-Chief of the Army) "ill travel by aeroplane from Simla to Quetta, where they will spend two days. The will discuss with the authorities whether the city shall be used in future as a military and civil station. The gangs engaged in demolition work in the earthquake areas have recovered several thousand bodies. Severe tremors are still being felt daily.
