(Received June 25, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, June 24 Twenty houses were struck by lightning during a violent early morning storm at Glasgow. Roofs were tom off, houses were set on fire and stormwater, sometimes four feet deep, drove residents from their homes. A burst water main and the failure of the electric light increased the confusion. Fifteen residents of one tenement barely reached the street when the roof fell in, penetrating three floors.
