G-4. 4-6. 6-4. MEN’S SINGLES. Second Round. Denker (Czechoslovakia.) defeated Merlin (F’ranoe). 6-3, 6-2, 7-3. WOMEN’S DOUBLES. Semi-finals. Misses Scriven and Stammers (Great Britain) defeated Madame llenrotin (France) and Mrs Andrus (Czechoslovakia), 14-12. 6-4. Mile Adamoff (France) and Mrs Sperling (Australia) defeated Misses Yorke and Hardwick (Great Britain), 6-1, 6-3.
