JUDGES SELECTED.
Arrangements for Coming Poultry Show. The specialist clubs connected with the utility section of the Christchurch Poultry Club’s annual show met' in the Fanciers’ Hall last evening. Mr G. H. Bradford presided. The meeting was held to select judges for the utility section of the annual show. The following judges were selected: White Leghorns, Mr J. Lig: gins; any other colour Leghorns. Mr R. Wilson; Black Minorcas. Mr T. S. Dove; Anconas. Mr V. Bedwell; Australorps, Mr R. Cotterell: Black Orpingtons. Mr -A. W. Pritchard: any other colour Orpingtons ami Rhode Island Reds, Mr J. D. Gobbe; Sussex, Mr S. Atkinson; Wyandottes, Mr E. J. Ross; nnv other variety heavy breeds and ducks. Air .T. T>. Gobbe: eggs and dressed poultry, Mr C. Cusscn (Government Poultry Instructor). Meeting of Committee. The Specialist Clubs’ Committee for the young stock show met in the Fanciers’ Hall last evening. Mr G. H. Bradford presided. The secretary explained the alteration in the judges in the rabbit and Budgerigar sections. The judges now appointed were: Budgerigars, Mr T H. Jones; rabbits, Angora and normal fur* breeds. Mr A. W. M’Nickell; Rex rabbits. Mr G. Cowan. The penning committees will be: Open poultry, Air W. Cummings: utility poultry, Messrs AT. C. Craig, C. H. Bull, F W. Chambers, G. Robertson. B. JohnGiHi Chamley and Mrs A - W. ATacAlr C. H. Bull was appointed to take charge of the foreign exhibits.
