SOUTH BRIGHTON GALA.
The South Brighton Junior Christian Endeavour Society held a pleasant social In the South Brighton Hall on Saturday. The evening was spent in games, competitions and community singing, and a playette by Nola Haley, Norma Christensen and Audrey Foster and solo dancing by Betty Bach were much enjoyed. Mr A. E. Lawry, leader of the South Brighton Society, welcomed the guests and expressed pleasure at the good attendance. The president (the Rev S. Bailey) spoke of the value of the Christian Endeavour movement in training boys and girls in leadership. The assistant leader of the New Brighton Christian Endeavour Society congratulated South Brighton on its progress and expressed thanks for the invitation to the social.
