The acting moderator of the charge (the Rev A. C. Watson) presided at a service held in St Enoch’s Presbyterian Church last evening for the purpose of introducing the new minister (the Rev F. H. Bailey) to his congregation Mr Bailey was welcomed by Messrs J. M’Pherson and C. J. Moody on behalf of the members of the church. The Rev G. W. ITercus, Moderator of the Christchurch Presbytery, and Mr W. H. Rose also spoke. Supper was served after the service and items were given by Mr B. Bernstein, Miss M. Crouch and Miss G. M. Bernstein.
