SHIRLEY BOWLING CLUB.

The members of the Shirley Bowling Club held a “ Progressive Rinks ” tournament on Saturday afternoon, thirtyfive members taking part. Three games of an hour's duration were played. Mr M’lndoe won the skips’ prize with three wins. Calvert and Mathers tied for tiie third’s prize with three wins each. Among the seconds, Nicholas, Harrall, Douglas and Hadley tied with two wins each and for the leads, Grossman, Grott and Miles' tied with two wins. On the play-off Mathers, Nicholas and Grott were declared the winners. The trophies were prsented to the winners by the president (Mr A. Nicholas).
