" A well-fed school child is not an easy pupil to teach,” says Professor J. A. Nixon, Professor of Medicine at Bristol University. “ He is a thoroughly tiresome child and you must not expect such children to come into school and form a very easy class to handle,” he said. “ Their ideas of discipline deteriorate as their physical condition improves.” Another declaration by Professor Nixon is that “ the minimum amount of food which really just spells under-nourishment can . be brought up to be adequate by taking a small amount of water with the meal. You may make a little food go a long way by drinking small quantities of water during the meal.” The beetle can carry a load 5.50 times its own weight.
