“ Times ” and “ Star ” Staffs’ Outing. SPORTS AND BATHING. Fine weather favoured the fourth annual picnic of New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., which was held at Purau yesterday. More than two hundred members of the staffs of the •’Christchurch Times” and tiie "Cnristchurch Star” and their friends enjoyed a programme of sports events and bathing.
