LATE MISS G. K. GUTHRIE.

The death occurred yesterday of Miss Geraldine Kate Guthrie at her home, 9, Carlton Mill Road. Miss Guthrie was secretary of the Red Cross, a society for which she had done a wonderful work. She was also secretary to the woman’s branch of the Citizens’ Association, and the representative of the Red Cross on the National Council of Women, and she was a regular visitor

on behalf of the Red Cross to soldier patients in the hospital and the sanatorium. Miss Guthrie had not long returned from a four months’ visit to Melbourne. The funeral wil lie held to-morrow at 2 p.m. at the Linwood Cemetery.
