A message from the Byrd Expedition ship Jacob Ruppert, states that she has been struck by numerous squalls since she left Little America. The ship emerged from the tempestuous sixties to-day, her noon positk'n being 59.43 South, 173.45 East, about 890 miles from Dunedin. The Bear of Oakland is about a hundred miles astern, according to radio communication
