BAND CONCERTS.

To-morrow the Port Nicholson Silver Band ( Wellington), which is on its way to the Timaru contest, will unite with the Woolstoa Band in giving two big concerts. A combined march will be presented at Lancaster Park to-morrow afternoon, and the Port Nicholson Band will play its contest selections and give the contest quickstep display. Mr T. Goodall, the noted ex-champion eornetist, will also be heard in solo numbers. The Woolston Band will play special pieces. At night both bands will present a specially-selected programme from the Edmonds Rotunda.
