TO-MORROW’S PICNIC.

The staff picnic of New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., will be held at Purau to-morrow, February 17, and Starlets and their families are invited to attend. There will be plenty of amusement for everyone and a good sports programme has been prepared. Ice-creams, soft drinks, sweets and novelties for the children will be provided free, and hot water will be ready for use all day. The picnic ground has a nice beach and good bathing facilities. Will intending picnickers please note that:— TIIE TRAIN leaves Christchurch at 9 a.m. to-morrow morning. FARES are: 2s 6d for Adults, and Is 3d for Children (including both boat and train). BOAT leaves Purau at 6.30 p.m. TRAIN leaves Lyttelton at 7.25 p.m.
