PRIMARY SCHOOL HOURS.

The Canterbury Education Board will decide to-morrow whether the schools under its jurisdiction are to resume full hours as from Monday next. When the instruction was issued by the Minister of Education, the Hon S. G Smith, that schools were to assemble in the mornings only until Friday, February 15, it was understood that at the end of that period the matter was one for the consideration of each controlling authority. During the past few days inquiries have been made by officials of the board regarding the weather conditions in the areas over which it has jurisdiction, and an announcement of the decision of the board will be made tomorrow.
