Plumber Who Imposed on Storekeeper Convicted. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, This Day. « On the false representation that his camp and possessions had been destroyed by fire, Donald Cameron, aged 47 years, a plumber, obtained goods valued at £6 from a Hanmer Springs storekeeper. To-day, in the Magistrate’s Court, Cameron was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within twelve months, and also to pay £6 into the Court within a fortnight. Cameron pleaded that he had been drinking at the time and had no recollection of having made the statement.
