FIRE IN PLANTATION.

Little damage was done by a fire yesterday afternoon in a small plantation off Hackthorne Road, near the Cashmere Estate. The trees are large Pinus insignis, and the fire did not affect them. The Fire Brigade was on the scene before the fire had spread to any great extent, and the flames were soon under control.
