MOTOR-CAR HITS POST.

When a dog that was riding in the back seat of his motor-car jumped into the front, E. Davenport, of 271, Ltnwood Avenue, swerved and the car collided with a telegraph pole in Hereford Street. Mr Davenport received injuries to his face and hands, but after treatment at the Christchurch Hospital, he was able to proceed to his home. Mr Davenport was taken to the hospital by the St John Ambulance.
