GENERAL GODLEY’S VISIT.
(Special to tlie ■■Star.") ASHBURTON, This Day. General Sir Alexander Godley and Lady Godley, with Captain J. I. Brooke, acting-A.D.C., will leave Ashburton this afternoon for Darfield, where they will be the guests of Major G. F. Hutton for the week-end They will arrive in Christchurch on Mond&D*uring their stay in Christchurch, the visitors will be the guests of -nr R. Heaton Rhodes, Mr George Gould and Mr Norton Francis. General Godley will leave Christchurch on Januarv 22 on a tour of the West Coast and' depart from Wellington on January 31.
