OBITUARY.
Rev S. E. Hill. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 9. The death has occurred of the Rev ’ Sydney Ellis Hill, who had been Presbyterian minister at Ellerslie for the past seven years. Outstanding features of his ministerial work have been his activities in social welfare and his work among young people. Mr Hill came to New Zealand thirtytwo years ago and occupied in succession the charges of Woodville, Taradale, Lincoln and Tapanui. ; Mr Hill is survived by his widow, • three sons and one daughter.
