GOOD MUSICAL FILMS.

“ Student Tour ” and “ Many Happy Returns.” “ Come On, Marines ” and “ Million Dollar Ransom ” will be screened finalv' to-morrow night at the Liberty Theatre. Two good musical films—“ Student Tour ' and “Many Happy Returns” —will comprise the new double programme at the Liberty Theatre on Satirday. “ Student Tour,” featuring im my Durante, Charles Butterworth md Maxine Doyle, is a delightful musial comedy which abounds in novel ituations, scintillating humour, snappy lialogue and some remarkable dancing cenes. Most of the scenes are enacted n an ocean liner, and the action moves t breathless pace. Every ounce of umour that can be won from the ituations is extracted by the effervesent “ Schnozzle,” and the balance reuired to make the picture logical is upplied by the other principals. The >ve theme is adroitly interwoven, and ; harmonises perfectly with the general tmosphere of the story. “ Many Happy Returns,” starring the opular entertainers George Burns and ■raeie Allen, is said to be one of the Tightest musical comedies of the seaon. The film is notable for the apearance of Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians,” one of the most opular jazz bands in America. Their lusic is pleasing in every respect and ley introduce three new songs, “ The weetest Music This Side of Heaven.” Boo! I’m the Bogevman ” and “Fare hee Well.” Box plans at the D.I.C.
