COMEDY FOR MAJESTIC.

Lew Ayres Starred in “ She Learned About Sailors.” “Little Miss Marker" trill finish at the Majestic Theatre to-morrow night. The supporting items include a film showing the wedding of Princess Marina of Greece and the Duke of Kent. Alice Faye and Lew Ayres are the principals in the bright nautical farce “ She Learned About Sailors,” which will begin at the Majestic Theatre on Saturday. In addition, “ Hide-Out, the fine comedy-drama which has been screened with conspicuous success at the Regent during the past week, will be shown. Robert Montgomery is starred in “ Hide-Out,” which is a refreshing production by reason of the fact that the simple life of an American family engaged in farming is contrasted with the artificial, riotous living of frequenters of Broadway and its night clubs. It is good, clean fun all the way. In “ She Learned About Sailors ” Ayres’s shipmates are Mitchell and Durant, the famous vaudeville players who portrayed the senators in “ Stand Up and Cheer,” and. just for good measure, the inimitable Harry Green appears as a South American impresario. This entertaining show deals chiefly with the romance between Alice Faye and Ayres, complicated by the well-intentioned but bungling interference of Ayres’s friends. The action starts in an Asiatic port, with its colourful settings, then it jumps aboard ship to Honolulu, thence to San Pedro, and finishes in an exclusive hotel in Los Angeles. Alice Faye, the singing star of George White’s “ Scandals,” has another good number in this production, called “ Here’s the Key to My Heart.” Box plans at the D.I.C. “ Sunshine Revue.” Miss Billie Williams is presenting the latest edition of the “ Kiddies Sunshine Revue ” at the Majestic every afternoon this week, starting at 2 30. It is a show the young folk revel in.
